We did it.
Today, I am proud to announce that I have officially been certified and will appear on the ballot as an Independent candidate for Charles County Commissioner, District 4.
This campaign did not start with a political party or a political machine. It started with neighbors who believed District 4 deserved another choice and another voice. It started with residents who wanted someone willing to listen, ask the hard questions, and stand up for our community.
Together, we made that happen.
Hundreds of registered voters signed our petition. Volunteers spent countless hours walking neighborhoods in the summer heat. Supporters opened their doors, shared our message, encouraged friends to sign, and believed we could accomplish something many said was impossible.
To every volunteer, every voter who signed our petition, every supporter who donated, every person who shared a post, and everyone who offered words of encouragement, thank you. This campaign is on the ballot because of you.
Getting on the ballot was never the finish line. It was the first step.
Now we have the opportunity to have an honest conversation about the future of District 4 and the kind of leadership our community deserves.
I am running to bring independent leadership that puts residents before politics. I will fight to protect our neighborhoods from inappropriate development, including hyperscale data centers where they do not belong. I will advocate for better roads, sidewalks, street lighting, parks and recreation, and strong public safety. Most importantly, I will make sure your voice is heard before decisions are made, not after.
No matter your political party, or if you have never belonged to one at all, my commitment is the same. I will represent every resident of District 4 with integrity, transparency, and accessibility.
Over the coming months, I look forward to meeting even more of you, listening to your concerns, answering your questions, and earning your trust.
This campaign has always been about our community, not politics.
Today we celebrate.
Tomorrow we get back to work.
I would be honored to earn your vote this November.
Thank you for believing in this campaign.
